Sure, I’ll admit that getting excited about a trailer for a movie that isn’t out for another six months could be a bit premature, but really, Quentin Tarintino? Spaghetti Western? That Nazi guy from Inglorious Basterds? Johnny Cash music RIGHT THERE IN THE TRAILER??? This movie clearly has it all. Plus it’s named after the 1966 Italian spaghetti western Django, infamous in its time as one of the most violent films ever made, so there’s that. I’m going to place my bets on this being three parts Kill Bill and one part Jackie Brown, with just the tiniest dash of Blazing Saddles thrown in for good measure.
Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Christoph Waltz, and is scheduled for US release on Christmas Day, 2012.
