Don’t feel badly if you can’t afford a fancy costume. You can still participate in Halloween (and be in the contest) even if you don’t have the funds to get all extravagant. The pic after the jump should show without a doubt that some makeup and a little imagination can go a long way towards creeping people out.
I used to think that unless you used a bunch of fancy makeup and glued cereal to your face you would have to resort to just drawing some whiskers on your face and go as a bum. But the lady after the jump really impressed me. I might be building this up too much.

This is actually really easy to do! Her’s look like they’re drawn on, which is wacky and hard. Just glue real zippers on with a little spirit gum from the costume store! Here’s a tutorial.
