Today Rio de Janeiro is in the final moments of planning this year’s massive weekend-long party to celebrate Carnival. Ordinarily, I would school you kids on some interesting trivia or the history behind Carnival, but you know, it’s been a long week already, and I’m not entirely sure how to get from “the Lenten period of the Liturgical year Church calendar” to “semi-nude Samba party” in 300 words or less. Plus, Acadia says I haven’t met my monthly Gallery quota of fart jokes and sexy chick pictures, so why don’t we all just enjoy this collection of smoking hot dancers in Carnival costumes? Oh, and feel free to add your own explanation of Brazilian Carnival and/or fart jokes in the comments, kids. We’re here TO LEARN.
