I mentioned in this Bill Nye post that I was brought up in the time of Mr. Wizard. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for the man. He showed me so many cool things that I truly did believe he was a wizard when I was kid. It was not until I saw today’s video that I started to question my affection for him. His school teacher like demeanor was never lost on me (I always wished he was my science teacher), but I never realized just how much of a condescending douchebag he was sometimes. Still, I can’t say I totally hate the man. In fact, the sick grown up in me kind of enjoyed watching him put the screws to the kids. If I know the Gallery’s audience (and I don’t), I think you’ll get a kick out of it, too.
