I watched the video after the jump and the whole time I was watching it I was thinking about how it could never ever ever be played in the US. We’re pussies. There would be protests. It’s too violent (and don’t get me wrong, it’s violent, be warned)! It has R.E.M. as background music (it does)! It’s violent and realistic and the kind of thing that if you had to think about all the public service announcements that you have ever seen put together in the US they would not be as good as this one is. Why?
Because for some reason, we seem to think we need to be subtle and clever. Why? What’s wrong with hitting people in the face with things? After the jump, you will learn two things.
