Singer and champion tongue sticker outer (seriously look at the Demi Lovato Tongue gallery) has not had the best week, and apparently is reacting to the downturn by quitting everything and moving to someplace where there are no cameras or computers or magazines that ask her to do interviews that she agrees to doing.  It started when some kid drew a pretty good picture of her as a mermaid on her Instagram and she did not react the way the the Internet expected her to.  And mind you I love her and will fight anyone who talks ill of her even if that happens to be 12 million teenage girls.  Bring it!

Here is the whole thing in all its irrelevant glory!

So here are a few ways that this all went wrong:

  1. The kid has probably never seen a real boob.
  2. I assume boobs are hard to draw.
  3. HE NAILED THE REST OF IT!  EVEN THE FISH PART!
  4. If Demi Lovato asks you how her boobs should look the ONLY think you say is “PM me some pics and I’ll fix it.”
  5. If you are a celebrity and a part of your career is based on your jacked up body image and the fact that you were a cutter and whatever then say: “It’s gorgeous and I wish my boobs looked like that, lol!  Good job, kid who is good at drawing!”

But since nobody asked me everyone yelled at her.  And then it got worse.  Because she did an interview in Glamour and awoke Tay Tay:

GLAMOUR: And you’ve said before, in regard to Taylor Swift, “Don’t brand yourself a feminist if you don’t do the work.” How do you see yourself doing the work?

DL: Just speaking out. I’m not afraid to talk about the fact that women get paid less than men in the United States and how unfair that is. Talking about it at all is doing the work. And I think every woman does her part in some way. But I think in certain situations, certain people could be doing more if they’re going to claim that as part of their brand. To be honest, and this will probably get me in trouble, I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it’s not real.

Oh and she then got mad that Taylor’s crew is full of super models.

GLAMOUR: Well, there are many kinds of “normal” bodies. I think what you’re getting at is there’s just one type of body in that squad.

DL: It’s not realistic. And I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment. We all do things that aren’t, but I have to ask myself, Am I content with calling myself a feminist? Yes, because I speak out.

So I am not sure how she thought this would go over but the Internet got all bent and then Demi (who is seeming more and more like Trump) wobbled all over the place with some crazy tweets.

 

OK so you are saying that you said what you meant.  Way to be strong!  Wait, what?

Well yes, they can.  But you seem to be saying they weren’t.  In the same tweet.  So I am not sure what happened there.

Yeah!  Where are Hillary’s emails?  DELETED?  How about that, Taylor Swift fans?  Huh?  Now we have them where we want them!

What?  She can’t quit.  Even though I told people in the beginning of the article that she was quitting I write really slow so I was banking on her changing her mind.  No such luck.  Well, if she has nothing to do now maybe she can be the tongue wrangler for us.  Not like she has anything else going on now.
