Persuasive Pin-Up

Archie Dickens was the son of a bootmaker clicker. (I didn’t know what that was either) Even though his family decided that it was his sister that should get the art school education Archie came back from World War 2 and began to produce pin-ups before turning to greeting cards.  Tony Blair once wore a Paul Smith designer shirt with one of Archie’s girls on the cuff.

There’s something special about pin-up art. They’re idealized images that are erotic without being graphic. A pin-up is a throwback to a simpler time when a bit of art could be a motivator and not just another X rated click. Arguably pin-ups objectify women but it’s just as true that it’s an art form embraced by modern women who feel empowered by Bad Girl Art. Rockabilly chic, Suicide Girls, Dita Von Teese; The pin-up is out there and alive in performances, photography, fashion music and tattoo

Sangfroid's unabashed use of punctuation and grammar has made him a literary standout on the internet. A rising star in the urban/romance/horror/science fiction/Nancy Drew fiction market, Sangfroid is the talk of the local McDonald's. His dog actually ate the first page of his magnum opus "That Foggy Night" and compared it to other great works like the weekly circular for its absorbent qualities.
