When I was a kid, it was a Saturday ritual to watch “The Soupy Sales Show.” I would sit, glued to the couch and the television, waiting to see what would happen next. Soupy Sales (Milton Supman) died yesterday at the age of 83. RIP Soupy Sales – may laughter follow you beyond the grave.
RIP Soupy Sales

I know the name like I know the names Bozo the Clown or Howdy Doody but I’ve no idea what they are all about.
I was around when his show was in Detroit. We ate lunch with Soupy everyday.
He used to tell us to go into our parents’ wallets and get out the pictures of the presidents and send them to him because he collected them. LOL Could you imagine that today?
He invented the Soupy Shuffle.
I remember watching old reruns of Soupy! I remember him as funny, but I thought Magilla Gorilla was funny at that age too.
