What motivates you to do what you do?

I’ve always felt the need to create and to tell stories. I’ve also always had a penchant for darkness and horror. I’m motivated by the need to create and also, recently, the people who are entertained by and grateful for what I’m making.

Who is your favorite woman who does what you do?

Oh goodness, there are so many. Nadine L’Esperance, Michelle Nessk, Tiffany Warren, Dayna Noffke, Sheri Davis, Comika Hartford, so many more!

If you had one wish for women in your space in 2020, what would it be?

Success in many forms.

Share a practical tip for a woman who wants to do what you do.

Meet people who are doing what you want to be doing and learn from them.

Inspire someone who is not where they want to be in the industry yet.

If it’s important to you keep at it. You’ll look back and see how far you’ve come soon. You never know what kind of opportunities might be out there for you. Also, make your own opportunities when you can.

What scares you?

Selfishness and greed.

What projects do you have coming up?

My film Manos Returns is coming out soon. I’m also working on a film about a skinless killer. Specimen 6 from Stoegele Films will be out later this year and I have a part in that. Also, I just finished a vampire script with Joseph Voegele called Ryan Fielding.
