Day 4 is here on 31 Days of Halloween and I am cosplaying as Jessica from True Blood! I wanted to do a vampire cosplay but it’s hard to find specific ones to emulate. I loved True Blood and the books so what better to do than be the sassy ginger from an amazing show!
Part One: The Tools
Now I picked up my Merlotte’s shirt from the HBO store in NYC that no longer exists. However you can snag it on Etsy for around $20! I picked up a long ginger colored wig for $18 from amazon as well as some Scarecrow Small Deluxe Fangs for $18.
Total Cost: $56
Part Two: Becoming a Vampire
I used my basic foundation as I am already a member of the Vitamin D Deficiency Club. Same with some pale ass Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, smacked with little Coty Airspun Powder for setting. I used my Anastasia Cream Contour palette to just help shape my face a bit so I don’t look like a circle with eyes. Add a touch of blush (label wore off) and some Jeffree Star Frosted Highlighter.
For eyes I used my Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. Light base all over the lid, then some grey on the lid and crease, with some black right at the lash line. Under the eye I put a little bit of a medium brown shade just to shape them. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Black on the top lid and finish of L’oreal mascara. I of course used Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown for the brows, and popped on some false lashes I had gotten off amazon.
Lips I used Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick and Urban Decay Vice Special Effects Topper in Fever.
Part Three: The Finale
Make sure you follow the instructions on the fangs! They are terrifying to take off (think loud clicking sound on teeth) and a pain to mold to your teeth. But so worth it!!
