Simply Beautimus
Tall, beautiful, and probably has a closet to die for (literally), Eulyn C Hufkie-Womble, costume designer for AMC’s The Walking Dead,is the epitome of a fashion guru. Her style is impeccable whether she is clothing the undead or attending an event. Besides being totally gorgeous, she is a consummate professional that really enjoys her job and adores her co-workers. If you watch The Walking Dead, and let’s just get down to brass tacks here— who doesn’t, you have seen her handy work. She is the brains (no zombie puns intended) behind all of not only the living characters on the show but the dead-ish ones as well. Her theory is that every Walker has a story and that should be represented in their clothing.

Not only is she totally gorgeous, and crazy professional, this Cape Town South African beauty is also very approachable. I had the pleasure of meeting her at last week’s Walker Stalker Convention in Atlanta and she proved to be just as amazing in person. She is gracious and incredibly appreciative of people, like myself, who have taken an interest in her work. For example: Tweeting back and forth for a year or so, I had asked her several questions about the fashionable yet functional footwear the actresses wear on the show (Smart girls plan ahead for a zombie apocalypse. Those who don’t? Well good luck taking down a Walker in flip flops…) . She was happy to oblige and now I have a closet full of boots that could stomp a Walker to “death” over and over again (thanks Eulyn).

Before you rush off to tweet her asking for a date just know she is a happily married woman and her husband, Caleb, is equally tall, gorgeous and fashionable (sorry boys). Together they raise two children and one incredible pooch, Pablo (he is not so tall but definitely gorgeous).
