Tell us about yourself:
I’ve been a model for as long as I can remember who was lucky enough to audition for a horror movie that one time. My life has become movie after movie ever since. I love to do everything, traveling, horseback riding, scuba diving, but my #1 will always be my job.
Why do you dig horror?
Horror is my first love and my full time. I was raised on it by my mom; we would always watch Tales From the Crypt. It has provided with incredible friends, entertainment, a fan base and income. Even before all that horror sets itself apart from the other genres by being more fun on many levels and it burns calories to watch!
Tell us about some of your projects. Say as much as you want!
Currently I’m working on wrapping up Bottom Creek and Zomboner 2 as leads on both. I’m working on a segment of Horror Tales next week by Jeff Kirkendall. We are currently working on finding investors for The Family Way. I’m also patiently awaiting to get things on my schedule that are only “in talks.”
How has being a woman in the industry helped / hurt you?
I think that my only limitations are within myself. I can’t say whether or not being female has helped or hurt because I always feel that I’m the only one who stands in my own way.
Tell a woman who wants to get into horror something you wish someone had told you.
When you are soaked and covered with dried fake blood get into the shower with your clothes on soak them THEN take them off, otherwise you’ll rip skin off. Also, NEVER agree to anything in the first place you won’t feel comfortable with.
